Si il y en a bien qui est un vrai repoussoir chez les climato-sceptiques (qui sont loin de tous l'apprécier), c'est Claude Allègre.
Dans ce papier :

le journaliste de Libé démontre sans contradiction possible qu'Allègre a bidouillé une courbe pour les besoins de sa cause. La réaction d'Allègre est lamentable, d'abord parce qu'il manie l'insulte comme un vulgaire digeant du WWF, et aussi parce qu'il dit qu'il pouvait très bien le faire parce que son bouquin est un bouquin politique et pas scientifique.
Je pensais que théoriser que l'on peut raconter n'importe quoi sur le climat au nom dela bonne cause était l'apanage de Arthus-Bertrnad ou d'Al Gore, mais en fait non. Il y a des guignol dans les deux camps, mais il y a aussi des gens sérieux dans les deux camps (contrairement à ce que dit Dorvek).
Parce que, dans le lien que j'ai donné, une fois que l'on a retiré les bidouillages d'Allègre sur la courbe établie par Grudd, il n'en reste pas moins que les températures de l'optimum médiéval autour de l'an mil ont quand même l'air d'être supérieures (pour la zone considérée) à celles issues du réchauffement récent, ce qui devrait un peu calmer les castrophistes verts ou rouge-verts (tout comme la stagnation de la température globale au cours de la dernière décennie, qui pour l'instant ne donne pas l'impression d'un emballement).

Tout ca montre surtout l'état pitoyable de la science actuelle qui tombe bien bas dans ces débat... après on peut pas s'étonner que les gens s'en détourne pour aller vers des commeries monumentales tel les trucs naturels les pesudo-sciences voir la religion... il serait temps qu'une science nouvelle émerge face aux singes savants qui sont en place

Le CO2 est nocif de toutes façons, et au dire des climatologues (des sacrés incultes, soit dit en passant, si un "illustre" mathématicien de Paris 13 peut arriver à leur en remontrer, alors qu'eux sont juste des physiciens spécialisés dans l'étude du climat, mais apparemment ça rend systématiquement idiot et/ou corrompu), une des principales causes du réchaffement de la planète...

C'est pitoyable comme remarque de mêttre en parallèle une vision pseudo-scientifique et mystique du monde vivant (inteligent design) et des visions variés de gens qualifiés de "climato-sceptique" qui ont juste le point commun d'être sceptique fasse à une théorie dominante mais non prouvée par des faits avérés mais par des faisceux de présomptions. Alors réfuter l'évolution est non-scientifique le fait de douter d'un model "carbocentrique" est une démarche juste et indispensable science et ceci indépendament du fait qu'il faille surement arrêter de gaspiller du pétrole, de poluer et de deforester mais ça c'est de la politique où l'on doit prendre des mesures tandit que dans l'autre cas il sagit de trouver la vérité ce qui est différent

C'est typiquement ce genre de conception du débat qui m'écoeure. Même s'ils avaient tort (ben ,ça arrive en science ! ), assimiler les sceptiques au sectes créationnistes , ou les centaines de scientifiques qui ont publié (pas sur le FALO, mais dans des revues scientifiques) à un lobby style lobby du tabac est une ignominie.

Je recopie les références des publications sceptiques , tu peux aller à l'abstract pour voir de quoi il en retourne, et après éventuellement faire des commentaires si tu es en capacité d'en contester les arguments. (NB, moi je n'ai pas cette prétention, pas plus que de contester les thèses du réchauffement anthropique d'ailleurs...). Je doute que Foucart ait davantage les compétences pour trancher le débat. Je soupçonne que juste que si le débat scientifique était si définitivement tranché, ce genre de type aurait besoin d'employer ces méthodes d'intimidation intellectuelle qui font le ravissement de gens comme toi

Bon, tout le monde il va se calmer. :flowers:

Mettre en référence quelques centaines d'articles en anglais que personne ici je crois n'ira jamais lire, ça fait sûrement du bien pour calmer un énervement (légitime ?) mais ça n'aide personne à comprendre et à réfléchir.

En plus, le texte trop long fait planter le forum, ce qui m'oblige à intervenir, contribuant ainsi à faire monter ma tension nerveuse.
